FEASTERVILLE, PA -- -- AMETEK U.S. Gauge/PMT Products has added a differential pressure transmitter to its 831 Series of cost-effective, fixed-range pressure transmitters. The Model 831 D is an all 316L stainless steel transmitter that is designed to provide years of stable performance under the harshest conditions and in the most demanding installations. 

The Model 831 D offers true wet-to-wet differential measurement in pressure ranges from 0 to 6 psid through 0 to 500 psid and is suitable for such applications as non-vented liquid level tanks, filtration applications, and oil and gas DP applications where lower static pressure is required. 

The lightweight, compact Model 831 D features a 4 to 20mA output standard with a 12 to 30 VDC power supply.  Its all stainless steel welded construction makes it compatible with corrosive media and hazardous environmental conditions.  The transmitter is weatherproof and capable of a direct spray with forces up to 200 psi without internal leakage.  The Model 831 is certified for CSA explosion-proof rating.  

The Model 831 D further enhances the existing line of 831 Series of fixed-range pressure transmitters that includes standard and low-power versions.  All 831 Series transmitters meet NACE standards for offshore applications. A one-year warranty is standard with every unit.
