The durable six-inch and nine-inch diameter reels retract smoothly and safely store up to 25 feet and 45 feet of data transmission cable, respectively, providing a neat, clean appearance.  The heavy-duty cable reels have been extensively tested under the most demanding conditions and are ideal for a wide range of audio, video, and computer equipment.  They help provide improved cable management, which eases production and creates a more professional production environment.

Hunter Spring cable reels feature an automatic pawl and ratchet system that securely lock the cord at any desired length.  Their “constant force” cord retraction draws up the cord at a steady, even rate.  A slight tug is all that is required to start the retracting mechanism.  An optional ball stop keeps the cord within easy reach.  The reel’s heavy gauge steel housing with baked enamel finish protects the retracted cables from oil, grease, and corrosion.

The cable reels are manufactured to meet exacting design and performance requirements and can be customized to a variety of cable configurations and cable lengths (depending on thickness).  They also can be provided in a range of retraction forces and color matched to the end use product.
