U.S. Gauge Offers A Gauge of the Month on Their Webstore

HORSHAM, USA – U.S. Gauge is excited to announce the 1981 Process Gauge as its Gauge of the Month. What does this mean? It means that their most popular process gauge is available at a 20% discount through their webstore, store.ametekstc.com.

Founded in 1904, U.S. Gauge has over 100 years of experience producing reliable pressure measuring equipment, and the model 1981 has earned a reputation throughout many industries as one of the most durable. It features a seamless bourdon tube, a solid front case, and a special low visibility dial.

The seamless bourdon tube removes the main stress point, which is the most likely place to fail because of corrosion or cracking. The solid front case protects the user in the event of an accidental, over-pressure situation. In an extreme over-pressure event, the solid front will prevent the gauge from bursting out of the front window, facing the technician. Additionally, the Model 1981 Process Gauge features an optional bright yellow dial, which improves visibility and worker safety in low-light situations.

U.S. Gauge produces the model 1981 in 26 vacuum, compound, and pressure ranges from 30" Hg vacuum through 11,600 psi gauge pressure. Dual scale dials are available for every range with an accuracy of ± (0.5 % Full Scale).

They are available dry, with a dampened movement, or liquid-filled with an EZ Fill case, which allows for in-field filling without special tools.
